2011 Quinceañeras

The Quinceañera is a traditional Hispanic celebration of life on the occasion of the fifteenth birthday. It is a community and family celebration full of tradition and meaning when a young girl is symbolically escorted into womanhood by their family and the event is witnessed by their community. The word itself comes from the Spanish "quince", translated as  "fifteen," and "años", which is "years."

In addition to the event itself, these young ladies will participate in educational and leadership programs leading up to the event, which serve as a catalyst for exposing the next generation of our Hispanic leaders and buisiness owners to our community at an early juncture in their lives. The programs will explore the dynamics of our community through Business and Industry, Education, local Government and Community Service with local Non-Profits.  These programs are meant to introduce the participants to leadership development and promote sense of civic responsibility.

Why do we do this? It is to provide a positive community impact and promote the concept of "paying it forward" to our next generation of leaders and business owners.
